We've gone through three days where not only did John's condition not get worse but to where we've seen some movement in the right direction. John's eyes are open some times, he seems to have some situational awareness even though he remains on a heavy sedative(; i.e.: appearing very concerned if he coughs ( we'd all probably feel that way if we had a ventilator on us and started to cough). The pressure on John's ventilator was 16 yesterday and down to 12 today, at 5 , he's off the ventilator and that would make the rest of his recovery so much easier. John's wife, Karen, is encouraged today.
Please keep the prayers coming. I know it's working. And thanks for your support at the Spaghetti feed on Friday.

ReplyDeleteSpecial hugs to Karen at this time as it must be so hard for her also, can't wait for the next Chapman/Garrett get together.

John, You sure picked a tough way to lose weight. Glad to hear you're improving. We've been following along on here and through Symonds. We hope you're released soon. Can't wait to hear your voice on the radio again. John & Kimberly
