  4. Chappy,

I know you can do this....I also know you are fighting with every ounce of your being...you are not done yet way too much left to accomplish. You have an awesome wife, loving family and a community that you drive crazy sometimes but one that loves you and all that you stand for. It is way too quiet around Seaside as of late, something is missing....John Chapman!!!!!

Know I continue to pray and am sending lots of healing positive energy your way....lots of love to Karen and the kids too....you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

God bless you all, always in all ways!!!!

  7. Dear Karen and Fam,

just wanted to say hello and let you know that we are holding all of you in our prayers and close to our hearts. Karen, I know that you know God is there with you giving you strength and courage. You're a great family and I wish you could see how our little town has come together for your cause...rising above the temporal conditions that plague us all... uniting in prayer and positive energy for the healing of John. If I could take your place for awhile, in order for you to rest and replenish yourself, I would. I hope you are taking good care of yourself. Easier said than done, I know....we mothers... so hang in there, and know that a whole lotta love is going your way. Mary is studying in Florence, Italy and has many many people there praying for all of you. love from the Looney Dooneys xoxoxoxoxoxo

  8. John-

I just heard of your situation and wanted you to know how much we are concerned. We are in Spokane now, and would love to have an address where we could send support if you need it. You were always such a bright light in my life during Miss Clatsop and were by far one of the strongest influences for me and my success. I will never forget being back stage before I went out to sing "Broken Wing" in front of a sold out auditorium. You could tell I was nervous, and you looked at me and said, "I know you can do this, you know you can do this, now show go show them (the audience and judges) you can do this". Nothing had uplifted me more than that moment. It will always be a fond memory and you have always been a friend.

    You can do this John....

I pray for your strength and for your recovery.

You’ll beat it. Just treat it like a hangover after one of the Bletchley Rugby Club Annual Dinners. Thinking of you and backing you to pull through.

Best regards to the family and all your friends standing by you at this time.

    Cheers

  13. John: I know you can hear me pounding these keys, so now, get strong, and get back to work. Just know my thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through this tough time. Remember, you still owe me a return match on my crib board, which I left in the office when I retired.

    Karen:
Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you as you and the kids face this challenging time. I still remember with fondness, the kindness you showed when you would call and say "Hey, I just made some..." and no matter what it was it was great. I could never thank you enough for your kindness, so it goes without saying if there is anything I can do for you, please let me know.

    Cheers and best wishes
