Well wishers and offers to help

Karen asked "Chappy's Team" to share all of your offers to help on the blog. Here they are:

OCT 30
***From Robin: Hi Deb, Had a call from a Ron Myers. He’s with the referee society. He lives in Lake Oswego. And he works in the hospital system. Has an office there. His cel number is 503-753-2351 I just talked with him and he said to have Karen call him 24/7 if she needs anything. It’s good to have someone in the hospital system that can help.

***Hey Deb, My husband plays in a great jazz band in Manzanita called Shy Jazz and my friend Bridigdo is in a reggae band called Ma Barley. Would you be interested in maybe a free performance or something for your auction or auctioning off a performance? I’d be more than happy to ask. Let me know. Jessica Raphael Community Relations Director Suzanne Elise Assisted Living 503-738-0307

***Chappy's Team, My wife, my kids and I would like to offer our time and talents (whatever those might be) to assist in the cause. Keep us in mind as you are planning the next steps. Thanks! The Gooch Family Darren Gooch Darrengooch@gmail.com]

***Bob Moberg has offered his legal service for Karen...if she needs anything.

***A rosary for john is being planned...Laura from the chamber will get details out.

OCTOBER 29
***Albert and Alice Wood have a small condo unit located near Hall Blvd and Scholl's Ferry Road in Tigard. It is a few minutes from St. Vincent Hospital. Hope this can help the Chapmans. Alice

***Patti Atkins, PR director of Seaside Providence Hospital, wants to offer any help she can. PATTI ATKINS – 717-7505 patti.atkins@providence.org

***Sterling Saving Bank has set up a fund – CHAPMAN FAMILY FUND.

***I spoke with Cathie Cates at the Natural Nook. She has taken several orders for flowers for John. She knows they can’t be delivered to the hospital, so she is “holding” the orders. We discussed creative ways to collect funds, put most of the money in the CHAPMAN FAMILY FUND and then send ONE magnificent bouquet from all who donated when John is able to receive flowers. Cathie is fine with doing that…and wants the money to go to the family…so no worries there. She and I will work out the details and let you know tomorrow or early next week. Deb

***Rotary Club of Seaside will make an announcement at the end of our auction, about the blog and the CHAPMAN FAMILY FUND.
